Infanta, Quezon (my 5th beach trip this summer. adik amp)

The beach isn't that great compared to other white sand beaches, but the waves made up for it. I still have body pains brought upon by those battering waves which i think was about 5-6 feet high or higher especially on Friday when it was raining.

The beach head is still littered with fallen trees and logs, all remnants of the killer flash flood that hit the province of Quezon in Dec. 2004.

The beach itself was the scene where resucers found floating bodies of those who died in that killer flashflood.

"Food was delicious" as my Chinese officemate Allen would say.

Drinking session at night, foodtrips during the day, exploring the place...great way to bond with my officemates...

(only have a few pictures coz my camera got busted)

i also hit the beach last weekend. the way you described it, also sounds true for bantayan island, only that tis white sand. the beach was kinda murky coz of the incoming typhoon (as the local men rationalized it) the waves were also huge. you can take a peek at it at www.cluttercrap.mutliply.com be postin those pixies in my account later.
