walking on the cobblestone streets somewhat takes you back in time doesn't it? the antiques they're selling makes you think they're haunted by their previous owners hahaha
We wanted to go to Vigan sana but we never checked that 8 hours ride pala one-way.. We only Three days free, so di kasya.. Sayang. We still plan to hit Vigan tho. Nice shots, btw.
i haven't been there but i read so much things of this beautiful spanish era city that i really want to visit vigan on my next pinas visit =D the UNESCO appointed vigan to World Heritage Site because it is the most intact example of a Spanish colonial town in Asia.
ahem ahem... correction please... VIGAN empanada is not the BEST in Ilocos region as you think. Its obvious probably that you havent tried the empanada at Batac, Ilocos Norte. Batac is where Marcos is and is known for the BEST and ORIGINAL empanada in Ilocos. Atleast next time you know where to go for empanada. And I 101% assure you that if you tasted this, other Empanada's you know will just be an ordinary one... :o)

batac's empanada and vigan empanada have their own "taste" i guess. they're both best for me as long as there are sukang iloco ang lasona (onion) solb!
