The past few weeks or months since I last communicated with her i was reduced to being the devil and was wishing that in the intervening days and weeks she and her boyfriend would have gotten into one big fight like Micheal Douglas and Kathleen Turner in "War of the Roses" and thus breaking up like Britney and Kevin.

But a few minutes ago i saw pictures of her posted in her cousin's multiply site showing her and her bf still going strong like Christopher De Leon and Sandy Andolong. So my nightly rituals of reciting this African prayer that should bring bad vibes to lovers was an utmost failure.

I was duped hehe.

Seriously. I had this penchant for crazy, eccentric women and she is just like that. Crazy, eccentric as her friend would call her and she still drives me crazy.

Anyway. She seems happy (it shows in the pictures) and i should stop wasting my time with my African tribal prayers and start forgetting about her. I still have many other crushes out there who are either married, or in a 3 yr relationship or just don't want to have a boyfriend anytime soon hehe...Love or infatuation for me is a one way street. Story of my bitter life but no, i'm not turning into an Emo.

I like this feeling of being shoved into the corner, i feel like Sean Penn in movies such as "21 Grams", "Assassination of Richard Nixon" and even Christian Bale's character in "The Machinist".

You know? always grieving for something I don't have. My friend Wawa would often call that as "personal issues" that scares women away. But I don't see myself as being as happy go lucky and acting like Lucky Manzano. Either way i'm just happy being this way.

Okay enough of showbiz personality comparisons.

And enough again with movie characters comparisons hehe.

Anyway, It's Friday again, I know this time last week I was with my friends in the beach in Zambales camping in a tent. It was an awesome escape from the city and now here i am back in the city fighting all remnants of loneliness with fictional weapons like movies, books and music.

Lined up on my Friday DVD Marathon are:

1. I Am Legend
2. The Mist
3. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
4. Knocked Off
5. The Black Dahlia

And half a dozen packs of junk foods and a 1.5 coke liter on the fridge and a White Castle Whisky on standby, just in case i get that desire to drink.

Life is pathetic on this side of the world.

Fuck it...!!!

And yes, I'll recite that African voodooo prayer once again, not for the failure of her present relationship but to keep the demons away from my mind and to rid of all bad vibes and excess baggages and "personal issues" that still remain unsettled.

On second thought, hmmmm my life would be boring if i'd rid of em all....

I like it this way...find me depressing or pat me on the back and we can be friends regardless of what. It's your call.

movie marathon turned into a sleepfest...halfway through "The Mist" I fell asleep...its not Green Mile and Shawshank i think (both Stephen King stories and Frank Darabont directed movies)...

I've read the book "The Black Dahlia" so im interested in how they made the movie...

"Knocked Off" was very funny, I saw parts of it inside a bus before...i'll watch it a bit later today...

How do you find The Mist. I enjoyed that movie. Scary brainless shit, but fun. Just my kinda flick, hehe...

I'm surprised there's no adult movie in the line up hehe...

kakatapos ko lng kanina nung 2nd half hehe...okay naman pala...cguro antok lng ako kagabi...

i hated the bible quoting female character hehe...good thing someone killed her...i feel for the Thomas Jane character in the end...he killed them all just before the soldiers arrived...shet nakaka sira ng ulo yon sa totoong buhay haha...

it was a signature Stephen King story, tragic ending, tortured characters in the end...unlike Dean Koontz na happy ending palagi hehe

bad trip hindi pa DVD copy ung "There will be Blood" starring Daniel Day Lewis...kaya di ko pa binili

She was also in Into the Wild, 'yung mother ni McCandless. Medyo naiba yung ending nung movie sa book, pero pareho silang tragic, hehe...
