As far back as two weeks ago i've been wanting to get away from the city even for a brief respite from the doldrums of commuting to and from work, the usual thing you do day in and day out that sometimes makes you wonder of living into a groundhog day the moment you wake up eyes staring at the ceiling wishing you had a terrible case of hangover just to feel different this time.

I've been reading some accounts from a few fellow Multipliers about the place of Anawangin in Zambales, especially Mikay's own account in her blog. As the holyweek approaches my friend Don and her girlfriend Kat came on board, that was on Monday and then on Tuesday night Mitzi and her boyfriend JB confirmed their participation in the trip to Anawangin.

Multiply friend Lani was the last person to decide to come, by Wednesday night there are 6 of us ready to roll.

3:00 AM: meeting place in Cubao near Gateway became 2:00 AM as i arrived an hour early and started texting them to hurry their ass over, which they did, so after picking up Kat in P.Noval in Manila, by 3:00 AM we're rolling the asphalt road of North Expressway.

Excited for what awaits us in our roadtrip to Zambales. Nothing beats travelling with your friends, it's like you get to know them even more, bond with them more or do and see stuffs you won’t normally get by hanging out in the city.

Another thing working great for us was Guy's offer of dropping by the resort that he manages in Pundaquit, Zambales which is Punta De Uian, a beautiful resort nestled in the fine white beaches of Pundaquit.

We went there first not knowing what to expect, but was surprised of the view from the resort particularly the beach front part and of course the friendliness of the staff headed by their accommodating Manager Guy Morales.

After having our coffee there and a supposed to be short trip to the market where the girls ended up buying foods until Saturday, we went back to Punta De Uian and wished if we could just stay there.

To make the story short, I'll just shift to a photo blog in detailing the rest of our vacation:

Took the boat from the very beautiful resort of Punta De Uian:
